Update CI to ubuntu xenial and chromium 
trusty is rather old, living on the edge baby! Also switch to chromium for
testing, the latest google-chrome version has problems to start with webdrivers
(DevToolsActivePort file doesn't exist).

Run Travis for all branches except depfu 
Otherwise when working on a fork Travis doesn't run for the branch you
are working on. Now you can try things out and ensure it works before
sending a PR.

depfu branches keep excluded as it will cause that we run it twice.

f8b7233404 Put database.yml into the code base 
It works by default, we have a mechanism to configure it (dotenv.example)
and we want to be a 12factor app, right? Let's do this...

a0b79c7789 Drop knapsack 
It constantly fails with "Mysql2::Error: This connection is in use by...".
Might be because of database cleaner? But until we can get this stable,
rip it out again.

Replaced by a matrix based on test type

9f8836732d Update mariadb to 10.2 to solve Travis failures 
Our test suite is failing in Travis as it complains about not finding
`libmysqlclient-dev` which is needed for mysql2. But installing
`libmysqlclient-dev` conflicts with MariaDB 10.1. So I updated MariaDB
to 10.2 and mysql to the last version as the old one is not compatible
with MariaDB 10.2. The missed `libmysqlclient-dev` is not needed any
more.
